The ravines that contain the upper and lower Dundee Falls are geological gems that deserve better protection than they are now receiving. The magnificent cliffs, rock formations, numerous waterfalls, and forests form a miniature Old Man's Cave or Watkins Glen. Unfortunately, the whole area is badly scarred by painted graffiti and trash. The two ravines are hangouts for local teens who couldn't care less about this neglected natural wonder. I'm almost positive the Amish killed them all. They pick all the mushrooms while we're at work to so if you like hunter gathering your food like I do you may want to find other spots ! 30 years ago when I first started eating wild I could feed a village put of 200 acres of the area but now days it's over hunted by people that own their own land and are double dipping...
