This is a lovely local park that's part of the Lake Metroparks system. It has a walking trail that is designed as a loop with a couple of internal paths. Combined distance of the loop and obsidian paths is about 1 mile. The park has a wonderful pavilion with picnic tables and a large fireplace. The pavilion can be reserved. Wood for the fireplace is provided. It also has a children's area with a slide and climbing equipment. Dogs are welcome (on a leash). And, the park has restrooms. There is ample parking, although the park is never noisy or busy. A large pond has fish and ducks. During the warmer days, I'm there 3 or 4 times per week.
