We had a great time, the show was family friendly and had our 10year old, teens and us adults all laughing. They do different shows through out the day all of which are entertaining. There is a section of seating that is shaded, the rest are in the sun (so keep that in mind or bring sunscreen). There is lots of themed stores, houses and other town businesses to look in, all with lots of old time artifacts and is set up to be realistic. There is also a few gift shops to purchase foods, jewelry, clothing, guns and other souvenirs. There is gem mining and old time photos you can do as well. The saloon sells root beer in a bottle for $3 and water for $1 with a saloon bar keep to serve you and plenty of seating. The people who run the old time photos are quick and very friendly and do a great job would recommend getting them done(they accept credit and debit cards and the building does have AC, though keep in mind all the other stores are cash only). There is also a Roy Rogers museum filled with lots of interesting memorabilia. Tickets are $15 a person and 6 and under are free, cash only. There is an ATM on site if needed. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back for Halloween and Christmas. All the staff was extremely friendly and polite. We had a...

Period clothing is also for sell. Old time pictures available as is miniature horse and standard size for rides, for a nominal fee. My family and I were greeted by the owner who is very friendly and helpful, he also performs in the shows and gives information. We drove one hour from Grayson to visit but to be honest we would have drove longer because its a enjoyable experience. Parking is abundant and free. They say they accept debit/credit cards but I did notice a ATM machine beside the woman taking admission and assume you're ask to use the ATM to acquire cash so I'd...
Read moreReally weird visit. The Grinch show was pretty terrible, the "acting" was worse, my youngest 2 wanted to ride the horses and while we waited in line the 2 guys walking the horses were having some sort of fight where they decided to tell me how one is a d* and abusive towards the horses and so forth. The Grinch "show" was all about this woman who smelled, needed to bathe, no one liked and all she wanted was a gift for Christmas and the Grinch was stealing all the gifts. Although it seemed all the kids including mine greatly enjoyed the dancing with Grinch at the end of the show. The lights were pretty, the Santa was not in the mood to let my 6 or 4 year old talk to him even though no one else was in there and my Autistic 12 year old didn't get a chance at all. The best part was the Frosty the snowman which interacted with people as they passed by. Also to note the only bathrooms were port-a-potties and no lighting so taking little kids to one in the dark was REALLY terrible. Definitely wouldn't go again as I don't believe it was worth the...
