A great place to go if you have kids, if you have minor accessibility restrictions, or if you just want a leisurely stroll without any serious exertion. Well-maintained dirt and gravel pathways, a trail especially for small kids, and beautiful forest setting. Visiting in the spring (I went at the end of April or early May this year) will show you endless expanses of wildflowers under a moderate canopy of trees. There are some placards detailing certain species to be found. This is an excellent place for bird enthusiasts. There are two pavilions and I think you can reserve one for events. Read moreI’ve known this park was here the past few years, but have never gone. I was even here last May for a graduation party, but at the building near the front. What a beautiful place! When playgrounds are back open it’ll be even better. Check out my pictures!
There are cute bridges, four different trails/loops, and the signage is perfect. I’d downloaded the map, but didn’t need to.
The paths are perfectly sized/packed down but not walking in mud/grass. You could probably ride a bike through the whole thing if you wanted. The beginning is paved, but only for the first part of the loop.

It also has two indoor pavilions with built-in tables, a counter for serving food, and multiple bbq grills at each one. They were very clean and well maintained.
