The bridge has been restored! It is great! However, the surrounding landscape is overgrown. It is hard to get close enough to view the bridge from the parking lots and paths along the river. The shrubbery near the restroom on the playground side makes it hard to enter. The last time I was in the restroom near the gift shop I was disappointed as it was very dirty . I know the focus was the bridge for the last few years. It is disheartening to see that the Aesthetics of this park...

It's said to be the second longest covered bridge in Ohio at 228 ft long. Built in 1868 with the steel supplement added around 1913. Pedestrian walks were added in 2003. No ticket needed. There is a county gift shop with a very helpful and knowledgeable attendant....
