Nicely maintained hiking, skiing and biking trails available with a $3 per vehicle fee. The nature center is clean and comfortable with plumbed bathrooms, a lovey sitting area with a view of the trails and bird feeders, and a kids area with lots of books and activities. There’s even WiFi available. The center also rents fat bikes for riding on the trails! It’s a great way to try these types of bikes out. They rent the bike, helmet, and shoes if you need them. Several brands and sizes of bikes are available including Trek Farleys and Norcos.

If you live anywhere around Lima, get out of the house and go explore this place. It really is impressive. They have nice shelter houses with wood burning fireplaces in them, be great for fall get togethers. A nice size pond, playground, and a couple miles worth of trails to hike. Ample parking lot with room for probably 50. Wish I had more time to walk the trails the day I found the place.

Great park with a couple trails, one with a boardwalk so you can take strollers on. There's a nice pond that you can fish at and numerous areas to eat with shelters. There's also a gazebo. Make sure to wear junk shoes if it's been rainy lately because you'll be walking through some mud on the paths that are off of the boardwalk.

Great place to take little day hike, go for a walk or take the kids to play. The playground is nice and large and the park offers a generous amount of land to roam around. There is a pond there where you can catch and release fish as well as shelter houses that can be reserved for whatever kind of party or get together that you would want to have. There are also 3 little cabin style shelter houses with fireplaces and 2 picnic tables in them. We went here to try out our new hiking backpacks to see how well they fit us and decided to take the trails granted the trails aren't as rugged as the ones in the Great Smoky Mountains like were used to but it still has slight hills and it's a walk in the woods that gets you out in nature which is nice. There is a board walk for people who don't want to have to walk on a regular dirt trail but be careful when it is wet because it is very slippery! Also if the river is up and it has been raining for 4 days straight like when we went the trails may be...

I went here with a friend for a special program for the recent meteor shower...no fun at all...we arrived @ 9:30 pm...my 9 yr old granddaughter was along for the trip...we found the bathrooms locked...REALLY? And they asked everyone to leave at like 11:30 pm...the meteor shower really cranks up @ 2am...so we had to find another place to watch nature's fireworks. THANKS FOR NOTHING KENDRICK WOODS. Oh and the local astonomy club was supposed to bring a huge telescope on a trailer....THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN EITHER. The whole astronomy club/park program was A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Especially for...

The new playground is cute but not as many different things for the kids to play on.The pond is good sized and there were many shelter houses.The wood path in the woods is well kept up with longer dirt paths throughout the woods.Dogs are not allowed on the paths which is dissapointing but the mosquitos are horrid on the pathes.This is a bog area so make sure every inch including your hair is slathered in bug spray .They bite through your clothes.There is nothing else to do here and it could be an option for family reunions in the Spring and Fall or on dry years.The facilities...
