Litzenberg Memorial Woods — Attraction in Ohio

The park has a historic component in the McKinnis house where special programs are frequently held. The house is only open at those times and is well worth the vist. The barn is another historical component and has a modern food service area attached. It can be rented. The natural area of the park with trails is the remainder of the park on the north side of US 224. A paved handicap accessible trail leads to a very nice overlook with benches. I was there officiating a wedding and it was so beautiful! What a great place to have a smaller barn wedding! They had a tent set up outside for the wedding and were able to seat 75-80 people. The reception was in the barn and it was incredible. It was your Pintrest barn wedding and there was plenty of room for the guests, DJ and food! I gave the park 3 stars only because I haven't had the chance to explore more of it. We did the south loop and we had our dogs with us but we will go back next weekend to explore the north trails. It's beautiful out there, plenty of trails, the dogs loved it... The only thing I didn't enjoy about the south loop was that there was no access to the Blanchard river from the trail.
