The park has a historic component in the McKinnis house where special programs are frequently held. The house is only open at those times and is well worth the vist. The barn is another historical component and has a modern food service area attached. It can be rented. The natural area of the park with trails is the remainder of the park on the north side of US 224. A paved handicap accessible trail leads to a very nice overlook with benches. They had a tent set up outside for the wedding and were able to seat 75-80 people. The reception was in the barn and it was incredible.
