This nature preserve offers nice views of the river. It’s also open all year unlike the Highlands Sanctuary, which is very odd. I had the whole place to myself when I was here and really enjoyed it. There are areas where the cliffs can be dangerous for kids or clumsy adults. There are two trails, I turned back on the Round Top as it was very sketchy in one area and it was hard to be sure if I was still on the main trail.
