Salt Fork Lake — Attraction in Ohio

I am so disappointed in this lake's fishing. Cabins were functional, nice roads, and beautiful views. But some of the worst fishing I have ever seen. Was there 3 days, never caught a fish, never seen anyone else catch a fish. Never seen a turtle, blue gill, or any real signs of life in this lake. It was brown stain color, little emergent vegetation, and if there was it was half dead, (what did they do here?) Big mistake to waste may vacation days here, NEVER coming back!!!!!!!!! Absolutely beautiful lake. Was fishing off the bridge which was nice. But they need someone there for speeding vehicles. Especially the dump trucks used for road maintenance. The drivers failed to realize the speed limit is only 35 and I almost watched 1 driver...

It's been five years since we visited this beachy lake. It was so cool! Not too rocky. The water and sand was very clean. We packed coolers and as many kids as we could fit in our cats. We spent the day and had a great time! Going to take someone from Texas...
