Small but unique park built around an old limestone quarry. Great for a stroll, bike ride, or jog. The main trails are all short loop trails that are wide and easy to navigate. There are a number of smaller, rougher trails to explore if you are feeling more adventurous. The quarry itself is an interesting place to explore. Lots of birds and flora to see. If you want to poke around in the quarry or the smaller trails, I recommend hiking or trail shoes with a little more padding and tread. We saw beautiful wildflowers, frogs, a garter snake, tadpoles, dragonflies, bluejays, cardinals, cowbirds, red winged blackbirds, and woodpeckers, and several chipmunks. It was nice to get some sun while hiking. It's not a long hike, and not a clear path but that's a part of its charm - it's more than an exploration experience. The little information center is cool, too and has...
