Took them an injured woodpecker that had hit my window hard. Despite the building being closed to public visits because of Covid, they were still taking and treating injured birds. Very fast, pleasant and easy phone responses and in-person service!
I was given a ref number for the bird to use for subsequent inquiries. They are short-handed but every time i left a call-back number they responded within minutes. And provided answers to my questions about the bird.
VERY pleased with this wildlife center. I had never been to it but plan to go back to enjoy the park and lake. Wonderful resource for that community and surrounding areas! Kudos to Massillon taxpayers and donators for...

They killed it before I even had the paperwork filled out. Didn’t give it a chance - also didn’t give me a chance to take it elsewhere. I had explained to them that I had other options but they were the closest. They did a segment on New Day Cleveland that makes it out to be a great place, but I had the opposite experience. Will still take injured wildlife there but will definitely ask questions before I hand it over. They may have been a little quicker to euthanize this little bird because the center was closing in a few minutes and they wanted...

Saw the ambassador animals out back, and one of the volunteers had one of the barred owls out to socialize and let the girls see it up close. Such a wonderful experience. Nice people. Nice building. Lots to learn there. We saw the critters, had a snack, then took the bicycle and trailer to ride the trails around the lake. Would have gone to the library, but they took their nap in the trailer. Get the events calendar and plan trips...
