Haffey Family Farm — Attraction in Ohioville

My husband and I are trying a CSA for the first time, and we started with the fall season. We know the Haffey family from our local farmers market, and we love them, and I was excited when I heard about this. It is very reasonably priced, and you are picking up very fresh, very seasonal, very beautiful vegetables, all lovingly grown. I know because I follow them on Instagram and I love learning about what they are harvesting, when, and how. I adore how their whole family is involved in the process, too. Each week in your email, you receive an update about the CSA delivery, along with recipes. Kim has taught me how to roast a pumpkin and purée it and make a delicious pumpkin sage pasta—I was inspired to use my new technique to make pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving with my own purée. Apart from their wonderful CSA program, their farm stands are wonderful. You’ll find the standards, when in season, but you’ll also find gems like kohlrabi and bok choy. Haffey Family Farm CSA offers a number of size and frequency options, and for our family of four, the small weekly share was perfect. The items available were all top quality, fresh, seasonal, and literally hand picked by the family! Kim Haffey sends out delicious recipe options each week to accompany the produce in the share. Kim and Jeremy did their first CSA this past spring/summer, and it worked out so great that they were able to extend it into the fall. We are a 2-person family who love CSA membership, and we're so happy to have found their family. The produce is absolutely beautiful and so so tasty.
