Boccali Vineyards & Winery — Attraction in Ojai

Drove pat this place for years! Last year we stopped with friends. It is now our favorite place. First, the strawberry shortcake, order it and eat it first while you still have room! It's sooo good. Everything we have eaten here is very delicious. We've been working our way through the menu, but tonight my husband declared the spinach ravioli is the best. Tonight we also had the bruschetta appetizer. I make good bruschetta, but theirs is so much better. You can't go wrong with anything they have on the menu. Cannot speak higher of this sweet special spot. The staff, first off were INCREDIBLE, all of them, kind, happy, friendly, fast and did an amazing job. 10 stars. Then the location!! 10 stars. The lawn setting was PERFECT for our party of 21, 7 small kids included. The stage, the grass, ideal spot for Littles. The FOOD. holy cow. Fresh, pipping hot and came out in record time. They were gracious enough to accept our party of 21 reservation only hours ahead of time. I cannot recommend this spot more....

Don't go here on a busy day unless you want to spend a loooong time there. Mother's day, 1 to 1 1/2 hour wait for a table, then our order was completely screwed up. We got our 2 appetizers, and 2 salads, but our pizza and our scampi dish never showed up after an hour of waiting. Wine is not great. Not recommended!!! There are a lot of better...
