I would have given this park 1/5 stars but people use 1/5 to represent 0. This park has potential. Nice sidewalk/trail, parking lot is paved well, picnic area/awnings appear new still, grass is green & healthy. It's a neat layout but grounds are unkept. There was a ton of trash on the ground including beer bottles & cans. I thought to take pictures but didn't want to be petty about it. There were multiple vehicles parked in the grass or under the pavilion/awning area with people in them & aggressive dogs that growled as you walk by created an uninviting environment. The sidewalk/trial needs edged. I will say the poly carts appeared empty so that's a plus. There were also a dog bag station that was stocked (trash was full) but probably because people don't pick up after their dog. It's a nice park so I understand people living in the area but I wish people would clean up...

Beautiful lake and very nice walking trail around it. Also has a nice playground on a soft flooring material to protect kids from falls. Sometimes feels unsafe due to many ppl hanging out by their vehicles that seem to b up to no good. They park away from the trail and playground tho so as long as there r plenty of ppl around the lake area I feel safe enough (being a single white female with a friendly 30lb dog). I've seen ppl fishing there many times but haven't ever seen anyone catch anything but i have seen fish up on the bank so i know that there some n the lake. The only other drawback is that there isn't hardly any shade on the walking trail (1/2 mi in diameter) so I won't go there to walk if it's too...

This park is next to interstate 35 and is a kinda hidden away. The park has a playground with swings for kids. Ample parking space for about 50 cars. When I went to check it out the park was pretty empty. Not busy and with a small lake there great place to go for a walk. There are grills for cooking some burgers under a pavilion. The only complaints I have is when I went to walk around the small lake there was quite some trash. I picked up a few but there were some in the water which I could not get. Also there’s a basketball court which I enjoy but the nets need to be replaced. Park is good just needs some love and could be...

Not a bad park to fish at. They stock trout here and RT 66 park in the winter and that's always fun. Just remember the rules. Only one pole per person during trout season. Even if you want to have a catfish pole along with your trout pole, you can't. One pole, period. $300 fine if you get caught with more than one pole in the water. Have fun!

This park was pretty peaceful. It’s on the smaller side but perfect for a jog or stroll. It was also very quiet there and not many people were present, making it a little intimate if you’re not a fan of crowds. Overall it’s a decent park.
