Border Casino — Attraction in Oklahoma

We love this place, too much! But its our favorite place to gamble and my husband has won most of his jackpots there. It way smaller than The Winstar which is only 5 minutes away and there is a shuttle bus that runs between them nut I don't know if or what it cost to ride. The Border is small enough that you can find the person you came with usually. They have about 1200 slot machines I think but no card tables. You can go to the Winstar for that. I recently heard they are currently building a brand new Border Casino right behind the current one. It is supposed to be larger. I really wish it would stay the size it is but that's just my opinion. They have so many restrooms that are always clean so you never have to wait. They have free soda and tea machines and coffee. They also have a small bar that also serves BBQ and really good chili. The machines really do pay even if some of these reviews are saying you can't win here, they are so wrong. My husband has won so many times here. He is the luckiest person iv ever known though. He wins almost always but I have never seen anyone with the kind of luck he has. I win sometimes at the Border but I don't hit many jackpots like him but I usually go home with a little more than I went with. so go check it out yourself! If you don't like it then go down the highway to Winstar. We love the Border and the staff and great security and will never stray! Good Luck!

• Update, I found out that the shuttle is free that runs between them. I may use it if my husband gets a whim to go to WinStar while we are at the border which he has in the past and I always stay where I'm at but without a car until he comes back. I could ride the shuttle bus down there if I needed to but almost always he comes back broke from going down to WinStar. He hasn't done that lately but it's a nice option as long as we both have our phones so we can find each other! I hate that place because it eats up my winnings from the border. Anyway... Sorry. As a truck driver I seem to visit these casinos more than I should. They usually all have ample truck parking which is nice but the trade off is overpriced cocktails and emptying my wallet. I read someone post about these bingo cards on the screens and how this new method of slot gambling has absolutely been detrimental to the players. Instead of the older machines where you play against that machine, I guess the idea with the bingo card is that you're playing against every other player in the casino. I haven't won anything significant in over like 8 years. I usually take in a couple hundreds, but sometimes I might spend up to like 600 and it has all been a wash or lucky to walk out with anything. These progressive style slots where winning line bets is nothing because your aiming for the bonuses, which I don't care what it's showing it's so unlikely to hit. It can sit with all bags full or carts overflowing and it just never hits. These casinos are all growing extremely quickly, adding new sections and hotels, and eateries. They keep most of it and I feel a lot of it has to do with them corporate tax cuts passed like 5 years ago. They have less liability so less has to pay back out to players which gives them the capital to grow and take and grow and take more. I really need to stop going. I keep telling myself this.
