My wedding was 06/22, my day was fantastic and a great time. Venue - 3/5 (with the understanding that a 5/5 is something akin to Hilton Head, Ritz Carlton, etc. where we would not need to make any additional accommodations for anything) Max Capacity: 150 Minimum: 75ish
It was a sweltering 104 heat index, the main floor and cocktail hour space AC had a difficulty keeping up with the body heat, Oklahoma heat, and doors opening. Which is understandable given this was the first truly hot day of the summer. The wine cave and actual reception area were blissfully cool.
The bridal get ready suite is small, but comfortable. We did not elect to get hair and make up done there as there was not enough space for us to feel comfortable, but did get dressed and it was perfect. Brides may find the space small for getting hair and makeup done - there is not a fan in the space, but Kim is accommodating to bringing your own fan tower.
There is no space for the guys to get ready, which was not essential for us, but would have been nice and been a boon to our experience.
It photographs beautifully, the grape vines and pavilion are great. The walk is quite long in comparison to some other locations - so plan accordingly for kids, elderly, or infirm in your party. Our flower girl and ring bearer sat at the last row to make their walk much shorter. We were able to pace everything out ourselves and it went well.
Your cocktail hour can only be fruit, veggies, and cheeses as there is no licensing for meats to have a full charcuterie board, but that was fine with us. This was no issue as our group was happy with fruit and cheeses. We had pizza served for our meal - the venue does not provide staff to serve food, but do operate as the bar staff.
The serving staff working at Clauren Ridge are exceptional and attentive. As the bride and groom, we were well provided for and their priorities were ensuring we ate and had water.
The venue provides everything but guestbook, officiant, bridal party flowers, catering, DJ, and the cake. You can customize as much or as little as you wish. You do not have to hire security or bar staff - though it is wine and beer only.
Overall, it’s a lovely winery and...
Read moreClauren Ridge hosted my wedding reception on November 2, 2024. Much like many of the reviews previously published about Clauren Ridge Winery, I had intended to leave a positive review of my experience with Clauren Ridge. However, recent events have forced me to revisit my stance on the venue.
A week after my wedding, Kim sent my newlywed husband and I a text, indicating that she sent us an email that needed to be reviewed immediately. In the email, Kim stated that one of our guests had left a negative review of the winery. Kim demanded that we force the guest to remove the negative review and that if we failed to do so, “she contact [her] lawyer in the morning.” Upon reviewing the negative review in question, it was evident that the individual who had left the review was not a guest of ours. We promptly relayed this information to Kim and offered to provide her a copy of our RSVP guest list. Kim later confirmed that this individual was a guest of a wedding that had taken place at the venue a week prior to ours. We are deeply troubled by Kim’s actions in this exchange. Kim’s first reaction was not to gather information or inquire, but rather to accuse us of misconduct. Kim provided no explanation for her assumptions and did not bother to provide a meaningful apology. Such conduct is extremely distasteful and unprofessional and displays a profound amount of entitlement.
We wish to share our experience so that other couples may make sound, informed decisions about whether to choose Clauren Ridge to host their wedding.
Honest reviews should not be penalized and reviewers should not be threatened with legal action. This leads me to believe that the current ranking 4.7/5 stars is not a true representation of the quality, service, and standards...
Read moreClauren Ridge was the best place I could have chosen for my wedding. It was truly perfect! Kim and her staff are just the best and they help with everything. I had a very small, intimate wedding with only about 20 guests. I had wanted to have it outside but due to forecasted weather I decided that morning to have it indoors. It turned out just as beautiful though. I didn't really have to think of anything as Kim and her staff handled so much and even thought of things I wouldn't have. I loved not having to worry about setup or cleanup or what tablecloths I should have. This is the best place for those who don't want to think about all the wedding details. The setting was beautiful, the staff was so friendly (Lauren was especially awesome!), the drinks were great and everyone had a great time. Everything went so smoothly and my husband and I had a blast. If you want an easy wedding that you can truly just enjoy I highly recommend you choose Clauren Ridge as your venue and Serendipity Nuptials for your officiant (and DJ if you can afford to) and The Photo Poet as your photographer. They all worked wonderfully together and I couldn't have asked for a better night. Thank you Kim and staff for creating such a wonderful night! I look forward to celebrating anniversaries there in the future :) (Photos by: The...
