Beautiful, unique cabins with a gorgeous view of the lake, but the management makes this an extremely difficult and inconvenient place to stay, especially if you have a large group. We will not be staying here again.

When we booked last year, we mentioned that we had 2 pets, but we were not charged a pet fee or informed of their pet policies. We only chose this location for our family reunion due to them allowing pets. When we checked our reservation information a few days before the trip, we noticed the rules now said pets weren’t allowed, so we had to find last minute accommodations for our pets.

Multiple members of our family were told conflicting information during their check in and booking. We encountered multiple issues regarding other family members not being able to pick up keys for people arriving late, despite the booking party giving permission. Multiple cabins also did not have linens provided for the sleeper sofas. When we informed the office, we were told that linens are no longer provided for sleeper sofas. Given the price that you pay ($175/night for a cabin with 1 queen bed and 1 sleeper sofa), it is absolutely ridiculous to require renters to bring their own sheets for a sleeper sofa. There also aren’t any blinds or curtains in ANY of the cabin’s restrooms, which was extremely uncomfortable and alarming for us, considering our cabin’s bathroom could be viewed from our patio.

They are currently undergoing renovations, so many of the rules and regulations are constantly changing. The employees are not well informed or proactive regarding these changes, so communication was extremely confusing and difficult. The reservation papers we received didn’t even have their phone number on it.

Additionally, our cabin shower was obviously not renovated, as the shower drain was rusting, the tile was falling apart, and it was not grouted fully. We had to buy a shower mat to even stand in there safely. When bringing this issue to the attention of the office, we were told a maintenance man would stop by the next day, which he never did.

Overall, it was a beautiful location, but the management and policies are inconsistent, inconvenient, and extremely difficult. We will not be staying here again and multiple family members have agreed that we’d rather get a hotel in Stillwater, which would be cheaper and more...

I've been going here since I was in diapers I call the home away from home the sunsets are beautiful even when it storms it fun to sit on the patio and watch them come in a lot has changed over the years but not all change is bad the new store or up dates store is really nice all employees are helpful I like the after hour machines in front in case you run out of bait or fire wood the new disk golf course is looking good there really is a lot to do there just for it being a lake the beach area looked alot nicer always maintained and taken care of. Again we're talking about a lake that goes well over expectations and I'm proud to call this the lake my favorite. And they do golf cart rentals and over night camping isn't over priced and the fish is hit or miss just...

The water was great, and my family enjoyed the improvements to the swim area! However, I guess this is the place to come and smoke your weed. The air smelled of weed the entire time there except for a brief moment when the police were present for a very short walk around. Mexican music blaring from a car in the parking lot with doors and trunk wide open. Beer cans left on the shore and even kicked a few other lake bottom There was nothing like it was in the past, to each their own , I'm just saying. And yes, I realize that I can...
