I have been to several different lakes in Oklahoma. From the south(Draper)to the East (Eufaula,Tenkiller) all the way back up North(Grand,Skiatook) and to the West(Keystone). I personally think this is the nicest one of them all. The water is clean and you can actually see the bottom of the lake as you walk out from the bank. Try that at Draper Lake with all that red mud. The beach is clean and most people, except for a very few, try to pick up after themselves. The bathrooms are clean and they have several different places to go to around the lake. Read moreThis lake is not safe to visit at all especially for those who have to park somewhere where there's no parking space available and have to walk into the lake. And for those who love skiatook lake very much just be careful and stay safe. Today i took my family out fishing and came back to our car and someone broke into our car. The lake is beautiful, but watch out for bad people that's driving by to the lake. And remember to keep all your belonging with you or store them in a safe place while you or your family out fishing, boating in the lake or in the surrounding area...
Read moreThis is a very nice place. like most of it is off your beaten path. I think it's a good place to go bass fishing. There's a nice Sandy Beach at tall Chief cove.the camping sites are not real crowded together so they look kind of nice. Plan on going camping there myself. I recommend this lake. If you're looking to buy property close to this lake. It will probably be a little on the expensive side. That's surrounding area especially the town of skiatook has some nice people. And if you want to be close to big Town you worth in 30 to 45...
