Tenkiller Ferry Lake — Attraction in Oklahoma

I typically go to Ft Gibson and have been to all the lakes around Tulsa. Tenkiller is safer for ski boats even when the water level is low. Not the case with some lakes. The water is clearer, and there are cliffs to jump/swing off of. Not to many people/boats like Grand Lake, but plenty to hook up and party or to take the family. The new marina is very nice. It had been years since I was here last, but I will definitely make it a point to get back up there...

The lake is fantastic! The clarity of the water and the numerous areas to relax on the lake are many. State camp grounds could be managed better: employees could be more visible as well as communicating the expectations of campers, ie picking up trash, designated...

One of the most beautiful lakes in Oklahoma. The huge cliffs, wide open spaces and sunrise/sunsets make this a very special place. Nice fishing, especially near brush that is near the cliffs and good camping and swimming...
