My wife and I visited on a Friday night as to avoid going to the Windstar Casino and wanted to see this new casino. According to Google maps the drive from Justin Texas is around 1 hour 10 minutes and we actually would have made it sooner if wasn't delayed due to rain. The drive there was 100% Better than traveling to the Windstar casino and upon arriving the available parking spaces were abundant and had no problems.
We received a players card easily and was excited to see a full Bar, Several gaming tables and the friendliness of the Riverstar staff. My wife didnt have any wait to play her machines as other casinos and almost every machine played we won. Hats off to the Riverstar casino and staff for a wonderful visit as we will be back but with more people.
Update 11/08/2020 1:40am Brought my wife and Buddy to Riverstar Casino since we haven't visited since we purchased our home in Oklahoma. This has been our go to place every week for date night since Riverstar opened and figured my buddy would enjoy our casino coming from Texas. We arrived around 11pm played about 40 minutes and decided to eat. My buddy was tired after helping me remodel all day. Before eating he lit a cigarette and I explained no smoking in the restaurant. He put his cigarette out and finished his meal while I took our food to the car. I returned and got him to go hit the slots. Around 1:15. I went to the bar to get myself and buddy a beer when I was told by the female bartender that my buddy was cut off. My buddy went to the bar and asked for a beer only to be told he was cut off again. He asked why and she stated because but gave no explanation. He asked to speak with her manager and she replied he left for the night. He aked for another manager and was told there wasn't one. He came sat by me as I continued to play slots and was confronted by 3 security officers. They stated he had been in an argument in the restaurant as my wife and I witnessed this to be false. The officer then stated the restaurant employee witnessed him stumble while leaving the table as I was there and witnessed that to be a lie. The restaurant employee lied about the altercation then changed the story to( He seen him stumble while leaving the table) so the altercation was actually an observation???? After winning over $1000 we replied we will never be back again. We've spent a lot of money here but unfortunately since nobody wanted to investigate the incident on a matter of principle they have lost our business. Very disappointed in the way this...
Read moreA somewhat newer ok Casino but they have some perks others don't... smoking is available throughout the casino. New machine and a perfect mix of IDG, Aristocrat, Konami, and many others I am going to not mention are through the football sized gaming floor. The point system sucks and if you don't believe me .. ask any one in the rewards dept to explain how much money you gave spend to get a free 5 dollars ( because you can not play any rewards until you reach 5 bucks). That part blows people in dark alleys. They clearly need to add on some plus items like the no hotel part is a drag when you travel so far in many cases to get to spend money there. In order to raise the bar, they could put in a more family centric. For example, any of these additions would make it more desirable-. Great restaurant is needed ,,,(no Ruth's Chris but at least a happening Native Indian/Country food theme with 4** + serving locally created and desired dishes). A golf course , or bowling alley , child care business for kids 2-18 yes to hang out and enjoy gaming of the youth sorts with someone to supervise and educate entertain or fire watch. There are so many ideas that could be explored, but this is a Windstar property and they may get to the profit zone where some new adventures to better sell the "Come to my Casino" mantra may be committed and or investigated as ROI maximizing finds light of day. Keep them in asking how to increase the value proposition to the customer... Ultimately we all gain advancements in the whole Gaming Experience as a whole. Keep it folding the big bills over ...putting in our pockets ... Because that is the only TRUE way to double it. Cheers fellow...
Read moreI have really enjoyed this casino and have won a little money there and until tonight I would have given it a higher rating, but tonight I called the casino to find out about their players club rewards program for new members for a friend of mine. We were trying to decide which casino that we wanted to go to. The man who answered the phone said that they do not give free play to new members and don't give free play for people who are having a birthday. I had just been in a few days ago and had to get a new card and there was a woman in front of me who had just joined the players club. I know that the employee was telling her how she could get free play that night so I asked about that and he said that you can't. I asked if he works in the players club and he said no I'm a cashier. I asked to be transferred to the players club and he put me on hold. After several minutes the phone started ringing but no one answered. I called back and again the man answered the phone and I asked to be transferred to the players club. No answer again. I called back again and found out that they obviously have caller id because the phone was picked up and immediately slammed in my ear. Very rude especially since the business that you work for depends upon customers coming in and spending money so that you can have a job and receive a paycheck. I am employed at one of your competitors and myself and my coworkers would be fired on the spot if we ever treated any of our guests or potential guests that way! And we will be visiting a different casino tonight and in the future. Very disappointed in the customer service that was...
