To the person reading this, you could go anywhere else in the world, but whatever happens, DO NOT go this trash hospital. Trash? Trash used to be something good. This is just a demons hospital! My grandma was on blood thinner medication, and she bumped her head HARD (which if you donāt know, if you hit your head while on blood thinners, itās a serious risk of head bleeding that can result to death) In the event, we rushed her to the hospital, we went in and waited for SO long!! She was in a life risking situation, and they payed no care for her, the lady on the computer was laughing and joking around, and my grandma was sitting there in pain! My grandpa then went to confront them about waiting for so long, he told them that my grandma has been waiting for almost an hour and nothing was being done. Yet there were people with minor problems that came in, one lady had some chest pain, and they let HER in before my grandma! They said āsorry we do it in order based on how serious the condition isā I came and I told them that this condition is serious, and that she could be bleeding in her head for all we know. They started giving us the most bull excuses! Then the security guard came, and told me and my grandpa to stop yelling. And what for exactly? Were we just supposed to stay quiet and silent when our grandma was at risk of death? No. Yet the security guard came and told us to be quiet in the most rude matter, and he started saying the most stupid things! He was treating my grandpa like he was some sort of baby. He told my grandpa ācalm down, weāre doing it in order from the most serious to the leastā And we kept defending our case. I stepped in and kept repeating to him that She.Was.On.Blood.Thinners. He demanded me to stop talking and said āLeave this to the adults, you are a kid and you shouldnāt be involvedā Like?! Who the hell do YOU think you are to tell me this??? Just because I am younger than you, it does not mean iām not allowed to voice myself. Isnāt this America? Whatever happened to freedom of speech? Clearly we werenāt getting that in this hospital. He thought he was a doctor instead of a security guard. He kept bossing us around and telling us things that doctors should only be able to say. Their lack of care or mercy is unbelievable and unacceptable! There was lady ON THE FLOOR, because of the pain she was enduring. That lady was waiting for even longer than us, and she was moaning and in a lot of pain. They did absolutely nothing and were laughing and playing. The lady started cursing at them and thatās when they brought her in. Even that lady yelled at them and told them that she felt so bad for my grandma, because she has been waiting for so long. Her words were āTake her in before me! This poor lady!ā What a sweet lady she was! Fast forward to us fighting and telling them to bring her in, they finally did. When we exited the hospital, the security guard started whistling. He was trying to show us that he wasnāt bothered, but clearly he was since he was whistling. Shame on him, shame on that lady behind the desk, shame on everyone who was unjust to us, and a lot of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband came in with a metal piece stuck in his eye and I had to help him fill out the forms and even answer simple questions, he couldnāt even remember his date of birth. He didnāt get any sleep and my purpose was to help him answer any questions and make sure he was ok. They tagged me to go in with him. The first nurse (Iām assuming didnāt like that I was helping him with his answers) told me I couldnāt go in with him because where he was going only patients are allowed. My husband had no phone on him. 2 hours in, still in the waiting room and no way to make sure heās ok, I looked up the reviews and when I saw all the 1 star reviews, I panicked. I asked the security to go check to see what they plan to do to his eye or any updates on whatās going on. He comes back and says heās fine and that he canāt let me in because itās too busy. It was super slow at the time. Every minute is going by like an hour and worried sick about my husband. Now 4 hours in, security change shifts a different guy was there. He also explained heās fine and he couldnāt let me in. The thoughts that went through my head. āDid they not want me to be in there because they didnāt want witness on what theyāre doing?ā Thatās when I just had to walk out of the hospital and sit in my car to get away. This hospital needs to put their patients first as well as their loved ones. My husband wanted me there and there was a waiting room inside as well where I couldāve waited. They redeemed themselves at the end when they called an ambulance to take him to another hospital and finally had him call me to see where I was. Itās why I gave them as two stars...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm not happy! When I came to visit my elderly mother , she told me that two medical students had come together to her bed while I wasn't there. On male and one female. The male student only gave her a complete sponge bath including her private parts? I'm not happy!
My elderly mother had another unnecessary and unpleasant experience: She came out of anesthesia in her hospital room instead of in a recovery room. When I visited her shortly afterward, two women on staff immediately complained that she was nasty to them as the anesthesia wore off. My mother who is not senile told me that she was unaware her uncharacteristic behavior and apologized for it. I spoke to the head nurse who cut me off as soon as I began speaking. She told me that my mother did nothing wrong, which I knew. She further explained that it is normal behavior for patients coming out of anesthesia and that they are not aware of their actions. Hopefully, staff will be trained in what to expect from patients as they come out of anesthesia and how to acclimate them to their surroundings. If I had known that my mother would be coming out of anesthesia in her hospital room, I would have made sure to have been there earlier awaiting her return so that she would have had a familiar face there to help her adjust...
