So, what can I say about this place and still follow community guidelines? There were a lot of cars in the one parking lot. There were not any people in those cars. Those people were all older men. Those older men were going for walks on the trails together. Those walks weren't necessarily fully clothed. Yeah. That about sums it up. If you go when there's nobody else there you won't be propositioned and you'll get some decent views of the river. I guess this would be a much nicer park if it had slightly less men diddling eachother in the bushes. Oh, there were also like three undercover cops the day I went. It was really weird to be propositioned by a police officer with like a firearm print. Super weird. If you do brave the marked trails, there are cool places for biking and skateboarding.

Whoever built the trails here, you are the hero(s) we didn't know we deserved. These are some of the best trails I have ever found in the midwest, they flow extremely well, they are fun, fast, and challenging. Everything you want from trail riding and only a short trip from my house. Five stars aren't enough.

As a mountain biker, the newly installed professionally built trails are an excellent addition to this park. The trails are amazing to ride and draw both locals and out of town folks to enjoy nature and meet up with other riders. As the park gets more use, the area also gets more friendly.

The park areas are also nice to stop for a break when needed. There are playgrounds and restrooms, I'm not sure if there is clean water available which would be...

I love this park. It has been my go to since I was a small kid. But man if the city doesn't have a ton of work to do. The road is all potholes, the trees for the overlook are way overgrown, tennis courts are trashed...
