Turner Sculpture is a nondescript, deceivingly large building on the southbound side of Lankford Hwy / US13 near the town of Onley in Accomack County on the VA Eastern Shore. Most people traversing US13 here are excitedly focused on getting to the beach or begrudgingly heading home from the beach, and barely notice the place as they pass it at 60-70 mph.
For those who appreciate stunning artistry, Turner Sculptures should be a “must stop”. The beauty of the bronze full size sculptures of lions and of jousting buck deer around their road sign are hard to appreciate at high speed. So make the turn around and go back to check them out. Then take the time to go inside and revel in the variety of world class bronze sculpture.
The artistry of the father & son duo has to be seen to truly be appreciated. Their work adorns famous institutions throughout VA and around the country. You will understand why if you take the time to tour their extensive collection of a wide variety of animal life.
Don’t worry, the Beach will still be there, so take an hour out of your life and experience something beautiful in Onley at...
Read moreWorst shopping experiences ever! Needed something for a business gift in urgent, so skipped online shopping and drove 3 hours to their shop back and forth, paid 700 dollars for a small fox, the lady worked there spent half an hour to fix a minor glue problem and handled me the box which suppose with original limited certification in the package(and which she said the fox and certification is all inside). Came back home and found she missed the certification. Called them right away but they refuse to send that certification overnight to me becasue it cost $15.00 which they don't want cover that! What's the point for me to drive there myself, I need them in ONE DAY so I can fly tomorrow. A brone sculpture without original certification is like what you got from the yard sale. Will not come back for future shopping, a typical bad customer service ruined the...

Both my father and Bob Hatcher were avid collectors of waterfowl. Many of the waterfowl we used to hunt for were on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Virginia. It was through father and my good friend Bob Hatcher who got interested in collecting fine sculptures and...
