We honor all veterans and truly appreciate the sacrifices they and their families have made. This is a small community and the veteran portrayed on this particular Freedom Rock is actually a very young local man, so young that he was actually on the threshold of manhood. His parents and extended family members still live in this community. When Nathaniel was killed the grief of his family and the community was almost palatable. This rock is a constant reminder of just how much we owe...

Its good to go there and drink my coffee. There's a veterans museum there inside and out side some war equipment from previous wars. There are several old builds there such as a railroad depot, a blacksmith shop, school...

Never been there before. What an interesting place to look at, always something to see, from motorcycles on wires hanging from the ceiling to race cars also hanging...
