Always a treat because it's off the beaten path and usually not very busy. We've had the whole place to ourselves on more than one occasion . 20 bucks per night for regular electrical hookups. There's not a place for sewage for large campers but this is an older very simple Campground. There's a shelter and 1 central water spicket. Nice big picnic tables and fire rings at each site...few standing charcoal grills also. Tons of huge shade trees so definitely dont have to worry about shade tents for the most part, and the trees offer lots of shelter from light rains too. Usually prtty windy out on the wayer cuz not much trees aling one whole side of the lake.....lake is bigger than ud think tho!! swim Beach is covered in snail shells and the murky water right there doesn't really entice much swimming. But the boat dock is simple and works well..... there's some big fish out there but we usually don't catch too much more than a few small ones here and there. People seem to have decent luck catfishing. Got a couple Bass and a smaller Bullhead this last trip. There's a gas station in town not too far up the road, otherwise you have to drive quite a ways to find ice or a place to eat. So I'll always be sure to bring enough ice and food to last. There's a simple bathroom house with toilets only, but they keep it fairly clean. One of our favorite spots for tent camping and getting away for a nice quiet...

This last time though who ever mowed the grass is just asking for a wild fire, at a camp ground where folks have log and charcoal fires it's not smart to just leave tons of Dead grass. Doesn't seem as well maintained as it used to. I put two nights worth of money today as donation even though we only stayed one, I hope it helps a little, wish more folks...

I've enjoyed my first night here I've been to a lot of camp grounds and the campsite I found here is one of the most beautiful spots to pitch a tent and wake up next to the water now to do some fishing and enjoy some more, would like to see this Park develop more it's...
