Historic Easley Covered Bridge — Attraction in Oneonta

The only Covered Bridge in Blount County still open to road traffic. This Very Short Bridge dating from the 1920s is well maintained and at present still open to traffic. However upon inspection under the Bridge the west rock side has serious erosion. If not repaired, I fear this Bridge will be in danger on the future. This is a one vehicle bridge so look for other drivers before crossing. It is a very easy to find historical area. There is parking directly across the bridge and a little parking on the side of the road before crossing. In the parking area across the bridge there is a landmark information area and a small trail that I did not take. Easley Covered Bridge is a beautiful little place to visit. There's not a lot to see, but it is worth it to stop by and just take in the beauty of the bridge and the little river that flows under it.
