in my opinion a place like this is mananged by a lack of management. seeding some grasses is about the only sort of management. there is poison ivy and poison hemlock in several areas of this WMA. But still a great place to have a pheasant hunt, and be sure to purchase your pheasant permit at the Sinclair in New Plymouth. Hunter orange hats can be bought at the liquor store in new plymouth if you forgot yours. Dont forget a pen either :)
Great place to run a dog around--the trails are well maintained. The fishing isn't bad in the river and I have met some young lads that caught a few crappie in the WMA ponds. I havent fished the ponds, or duck hunted...
