CreekStand Catfish Farm — Attraction in Opelika

Thank you for all the Great reviews of my business here at Creekstand , We try to be upfront and honest about the fishing as we possibly can be! We even get out on a busy day and seine them up if you come out shorthanded, I have fish in most of all my ponds , but I dont order truck loads because I dont have fish, I order them so my customers can catch them and kids can enjoy themselves..Thats why a selective few ponds are only opened and when i say 1000 pounds were caught out last week I order 3000 or more pounds at a time when I supply truck load of fish in few ponds. Sometimes a truck load; I believe doesn't really teach the fact of fishing and that's patience! But I have been in this business for 30 years this year and am grateful for all my support and customers that come out and enjoy their selves..But catching a fish here is just like catching them at a lake; It depends on the weather , the moon, pressure in air , or the change in the direction the wind blows! I cant guarantee a basket full, or bucket full in less than an hr every time, or else it wouldn't be called fishing! and the fee money that is paid to enter to fish , goes toward the toilet paper , paper towels , and water bill for the facility along with free umbrellas for usage , and last but not least trash cans ,and bags! It takes a lot to keep this place running , But i am never out of fish! But i hope to continue to see everyone enjoy this place and I will keep on trying to supply the things needed to maintain and run this Catfish Business, and thank you to all my customers that have been supporting me throughout...

Man, what an awesome place!! I will never forget how good it made me feel just relaxing and fishing. Hardly had time to reflect with all the catfish I had to keep catching!!! 😃 Delightful experience... Beautiful land, beautiful area! Well taken care of. Ponds are definitely stocked!! Will be coming regularly. Best place to get away from all of it, us know!!! 5 stars out of 5!!!

Just wanted to thank Bud for letting the "outsiders" come and partake with nature!!...

Have been going here at least twice a week for the past month now catching fish and filling my personal Pond up with them, these are some very decent people very nice with lots of room to fish and they got some damn good sweet tea!!! Lots of sweet women that work out there just a good Southern place to relax and catch and fish!!!!!! They have good hot dogs as well!!!!
