My favorite Columbus metro park because of the different types of hikes available, and the view of the river from the overlook.
The Overlook Trail has some steep-ish hills, and the best view in the park. Definitely read the signs along the way to learn the history of the area. At the overlook, you can sit and enjoy the late afternoon sun, the view from high above the river, and maybe spot a bald eagle.
The dog trail is decent, but prepare to get seriously muddy if it's been wet recently. The path by the river is shady and serene. The picnic areas and playgrounds are in good repair. In the winter, there's a sledding hill as well.
