Home Fruit Wine — Attraction in Orange

Jennie & our mutual friend visited Home Fruit Wine on Friday. Jennie loved it so much that we went today. Our mutual friend joined us, as well. This is cute, small, hometown winery has a far larger assortment of wines than you would expect. Dave, the owner, is quite the personable guy who is happy to talk about the 11 year history of his winery and where it all began. All of the wines he makes are made from fruit (or honey or vegetables) sourced locally, which really adds something special to it. Most of his wines offer a sweeter flavor profile, our preference. Though, he does have a few dry wines, as well. We spent nearly two hours sampling a large variety of what he has to offer. We left with 3 bottles, and will definitely be back for more. We brought our own small charcuterie board with various cheeses and crackers of our liking, which he more than welcomes.

In summary: Home Fruit Wine in Orange, MA is a fantastic little winery that deserves a stop if you’re passing by, or a special detour if you’re ever even remotely in the area, or are just looking for a flavor-filled trip to go somewhere different. After a day on the bike, my partner surprised me for a visit to Home Fruit Wine. Home Fruit Wine was my surprise come true. Nestled in Orange,MA, this beautiful winery with its own homemade wines is sure to make an impression. We had the pleasure of meeting David who’s an owner of this beautiful winery. David got to telling his stories of how he first started, with just peaches in his backyard. Now, he even has onion wine! Tastings are available at this location. You get to try any of the wines and let me tell you, it’s so fun! I tried the Kiwi, which is so unique and on the sweeter end. I tried the honey mead and it was delicious! I love honey anything! I tried the cranberry bold and as you know if your a local(more to the cape) that cranberry taste is a test! This was a winner in my book. I ended up buying a bottle. My friend and I had the pleasure of meeting David, the owner of Home Fruit Wine, at the Amherst Farmer's Market, where we were drawn in by their impressive selection of fruit wines. These wines are crafted from real fruit, not just flavoring added to a grape base, which sets them apart. Intrigued, we decided to visit their location for a tasting, and we were blown away by the experience.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional service and a wealth of knowledge about the wines.
