Tully Lake — Attraction in Orange

A beautiful man made lake in mid western Massachusetts, Tully Lake has many interesting islands to explore. The launch is paved with ample parking. Motors are limited to 10HP but most people enjoy paddling kayaks or canoes. There are wild blue berries on the shores which are ripe in early August. Great place for swimming and paddling. The water is pristine and the lake is usually very uncrowded, even in the summer. Plenty of parking, bathrooms, picnic tables. I have not been to the campground but I hear it’s quite nice. Best thing to do: paddle out to one of the islands and have a swim and a picnic.
