A beautiful man made lake in mid western Massachusetts, Tully Lake has many interesting islands to explore. The launch is paved with ample parking. Motors are limited to > 10HP but most people enjoy paddling kayaks or canoes. There are wild blue berries on the shores which are ripe in early August. The lake is fed by a small river which gives the paddler more chances for exploration and discovery. Doanes falls is also a short hike up a tributary from the lake. Several beautiful cascades can be explored on foot, but wading or swimming is not allowed.

The lake is pretty big and nice to paddle on and the trail is a absolutely gorgeous. I haven't actually made it all the way because it's pretty lengthy, but I love the walk. I don't know much about disc golf, but I've heard the course is nice. It's also a great place for family gatherings as long as you make reservations. It can get busy though.

Absolutely beautiful. This lake has it all. Boat ramp, playground, picnic tables. Campground next to lake. Very clean and nicely designed. Tons of little island to explore or relax on. Plenty of fish to catch. Greatvspot for the family on a nice day. Just wish the gate to the boat ramp and parking was open. Hope it is soon.

Great place for swimming and paddling. The water is pristine and the lake is usually very uncrowded, even in the summer. Plenty of parking, bathrooms, picnic tables. I have not been to the campground but I hear it’s quite nice. Best thing to do: paddle out to one of the islands and have a swim and a picnic. Fishing is onlyok, not the best in the area - largemouth bass and bluegills mainly, with some yellow perch and...

Tully Lake is a beautiful and accessible multi-sport recreational area that is representative of many of the great outdoor recreational activities of the North Quabbin Region. An excellent boat launch, various fine hiking trails, lakeside picnic space, seasonal campground, and even a full 18-hole disc golf course are but a few of the opportunities available...
