The hike around the smaller lake two is pretty flat and relatively easy. The skunk cabbage was in bloom in April, and looked amazing. The larger lake has a bit of uphill, but is not difficult. The hardest part was getting to the trailhead (we hiked down from Mt. Constitution then back up which is a 1300 foot elevation change each way in 1.3 miles).
