Foxhollow Farm — Attraction in Orchard Grass Hills

Visiting family in Louisville KY area from NJ and was looking for a local farm to visit to get some fresh products for dinner. Searching google showed that they had grass fed beef, milk products, honey, eggs and other collaborative farm products. We immediately took a quick ride and visited the farm market on site. This farm is beautiful! It had a tree lined entry way, scenic trails that you are free to walk and an awesome little market where all of the fresh produce is. I ended up picking up grass fed ground beef, low temp pasteurized unhomogenized milk and chocolate milk. All were fresh and delicious as can be!! This is a great place to source all of your milk, beef and eggs from without a doubt!! It was great to speak with Cody about the farm and he couldn't be more open and friendly to talk to. We stopped here after reading about it online. We were visiting Louisville and looked them up. They are a collaborative farm and specialize in grass fed and grass finished beef. They have a market that is open to buy their beef products, eggs, flowers, honey, ice cream and more.

What an awesome place!!!! Chatted with Cody, he gave us all the info on the farm, a super nice person to say the least. Bought some beef, in which he packed up nicely in a cold bag with some ice packs, some fabulous honey, truly never tasted anything like it, and some local ice cream treats!

They have hayride nights, concerts, meditation events, and nature trails. We were Sorry to have missed that, but will have to return one day.

Excellent grass fed organic meat straight from the farm, but the on-site "store" is like a little closet in the front of a house that has been converted to offices. We were greeted by two very sweet but large dogs, which was fine for us but could be off-putting for some. The young man that helped us didn't have much knowledge or experience and the interaction was very odd and uncomfortable. The dogs stayed with us the whole time and tried to leave with us. We tried to make the dogs stay inside and even though people from the meeting could see us, no one helped or said anything. As we walked out, my very cool teenage daughter said "That was so awkward!"
