Could be a 5 star wonderful place and beach if all people followed all the rules here at this beach. The big problem here is so many people bring so many big dogs here, some lady the other day in a white Honda Accord came with three big dogs unleashed and running all over like crazy, no one else could enjoy the beach, out of control, lawlessness, she didn't care or respect other people or the rules here. The signs all say, no dogs, no pets, right when you drive in, but today no one wants laws or order, they don't follow rules and are selfish and bother others. The big problem here is there is no lifeguard to stop them, the rules are clearly posted, but the police, elected, and county administration in this county here do not enforce their laws and rules, so it is very lawless here to say the least. Why do humans always ruin it for others by breaking laws? There is a lawsuit just waiting to happen here. They need to enforce their laws.
Treasure Shores beach is beautiful, it is the people who break the laws here that ruin it for others to enjoy, their selfish acts and lawlessness ruin it for others who want to enjoy nature too. It would be nice if there was better enforcement of the rules and laws here. Praying it improves and that people follow the rules here so we all can better...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped in here on the afternoon of August 17, 2025 just to have a look around while on a two night camping trip to Sebastian Inlet State Park located about 5 miles us A1A from the entrance here. It had been a long time since we'd driven this stretch of A1A (now called the Jimmy Buffet Memorial Hwy), and I used to go camping right off the beach here while in High School and Junior College back in the early 1980s when there was not even a paved road, parking lot, or restrooms here. We were happy to see that Indian River County had really improved this gorgeous stretch of very isolated and unspoiled stretch of beach. There was almost no one at the beach even though it was a Sunday afternoon. The parking lot here looks new, and so do the restrooms (all very clean). I would highly recommend this place if you are camping at nearby Sebastian Inlet, or even staying over across the river on the mainland in the towns of Sebastian or Roseland. It's a quiet little stretch of beach paradise and it will never be developed because the county owns the beachfront, and the USFWS own the Pelican Island NWR right across the...

This 20.8 acre park offers nine picnic tables, a pirate ship themed playground, outdoor showers, restroom, and beach access. This is the designated ADA beach access park for Indian River County. Note that there are no lifeguards here but parking is free which is always a great find.
This beach is known for sea turtle nesting which takes place March 1st through October 31st.
