There can be good fishing here.. if you have a boat or kayak. Not far from Coos Bay, about 30 minutes casually. Campground on site. Usually busy there. You need to make a reservation. Clean and family friendly. Even a full size playground for the kiddos.
Walking/Hiking trails perimeter the lake. I fished off the dock a couple times but got skunked. Though a week prior my buddy caught quite a few. A floating vessel seems to be the way to go for fishing here.
Check it out. It is a relaxing environment. I haven't checked out the campsites. I haven't camped here. There is a camp host on site. The park is very well maintained....

Very beautiful lake. Clean campground, bathrooms, and showers. Large playground for kids. It has a small dock for launching boats, as well as a kayak launch. I have fished off the dock and caught croppy and trout. Harder to catch a bass from what the locals say, but have heard tale of some BIG ones lurking...
