I stopped by on a whim and decided I had to do it as soon as possible. Before we met our guides, I got to chat with other people who were going to be in the same group with me, which included two repeat customers and their third that they talked into trying it, as well as a couple that I think were both doing something like this for their first time. We met our guides (D, Kenna, and Jaycee) and got assigned our call signs. I got "Miley Cyrus" which was perfect for me. I definitely came in like a wrecking ball with my first run. The whole tour, there were jokes and distractions that kept everyone laughing and excited for the next zip. D, Kenna, and Jaycee all created a vibe that made everyone feel like they could meet their own challenges on the course. There was so much encouragement going on from them and everyone participating in the tour. With our groups of 1, 2, and 3 people, somehow we became one group of 6 that conquered the course together. By the last zip, we were a group of 9 people that had an amazing experience together. People were exchanging photos and videos that we took of each other. At the second to last zip, we got the option to touch the water, ranging from just a little (or not at all), to a full on double dunking which is what I opted for. I was completely soaked from head to toe, and loved every second of it. After that zip, I spent a bit of time warming up by the fire before we got the whole group down the line, and we were off for the final zip. The final lines were two parallel lines that meants racing was an option. I'm looking forward to bringing a group of friends and family and challenging someone I love, or possibly just challenging myself and doing the option provided called the "Zwing". I would describe the Zwing as a combination of the zipping we'd been doing and a bungee jump. People who do it get their short attachments to the line swapped out for longer bungee attachments, then jump off the right side while attached to the left zipline. While there is an added cost, ($29 at the time I think) the experience looked amazing. People make a huge pendulous swinging left and right while still moving forwards along the line. All in all, I 100% suggest this for anyone that is considering it. I left thinking it was more than worth the money, wishing I had more cash on me to tip the guides more than I did. I'll definitely be tipping Jaycee extra well, since she's training and wasn't allowed to take tips yet. D, Kenna, and Jaycee were definitely a highlight of the tour. I will be back, and I will be bringing more...
Read moreThis is such a fun place! We brought our kids here 10 years ago when we used to vacation up here from AZ, but now we live in Warrenton and I brought my 79 year old mother-in-law here for an adventure! It was every bit as fun as I remember! You start off with a quick safety and instruction period, and then get harnessed up. Each group has two guides, and ours were awesome! We had Ethan and ?? (I'm so embarrassed I can't remember her name!) and they were so fun and entertaining! There were 9 total people in our adventure group , which made it fun. There are 8 different zip lines, with the first 4 kind of designed to break you in, and the last 4 being longer and from higher ground. Be prepared to walk short distances with steep inclines. Some of them will have you breathing a little hard by the time you get to the next zip! At least half of them went over water at some point. One if them towards the end will allow you to get absolutely soaked, or you can choose to stay 100% dry. One kid in our group decided he wanted the full dunk, and Ethan did not disappoint! It was rather entertaining to the rest of us! The last zip releases from 80' up and allows you to add a 'zwing' free fall where tie like a 20' strap to your zip line, which allows you to free fall for a second and then swing wildly back and forth as you zip over a lake. My mother-in-law was a little hesitant to go on this adventure with me, but absolutely loved every aspect of it! She loved it so much she tipped our two guides $100! Although the price might seem steep, it's worth every penny! You...
Read moreVery uplifting, fun, amazing and great time for the whole family. The guides are very entertaining. They give you a wonderful, safe experience. It rained the whole time we were there and we still had an amazing fun packed time.
Tips: If you going during rain season which is almost half the year bring plastic rain poncho. Even if no rain in forecast bring extra set of clothing. There are beautiful ponds under the zip lines and sometimes you may touch the water so bring extra shoes and socks for some water skiing action. Your personal devices may be placed in your guides backpack to keep them from getting wet. That way you can still take pictures as you go from track to track.
Very good, safe system they have. Short hikes lasting 5 - 7 min. Moderate uphill. Slow pace. One tower consisting of about 5 flights of stairs. I highly recommend the swing at the end plus you get a cool wrist band showing off that you did it. Entire trip took about 2 hrs, including set-up, safety briefs, breaks and gear return.
Staff was very nice and welcoming. The facility is made of stunningly, breath taking, natural wood all harvested from the surrounding land. Milled on sight using their private mill. It's pretty interesting. They even have their own electric water generator so they may run on 100% green energy if they choose. Though they don't do this anymore since the power lines were installed some years later. This is all explained to you...
