This really is an awesome place to camp and get some good kayaking in! The park itself is well maintained and offers some great amenities. There's nice bathrooms and showers not far to walk from your site either. There's full electric, water and sewer hook ups as well. The camp host is so friendly and the workers as well. Clean camp sites and they offer wood purchases that they will deliver to you. Also can get ice and a few other things. There's lots of shaded areas and beautiful scenery. We do advise putting all food up and night as there are skunks that like to get into stuff, garbage too. But they only come out when everyone is sleeping and easily run away when you shine a light at them. We kayaked from Indian Mary to ennis riffle. Super fun and there's places to stop on the way to swim. For more experienced kayakers you can get in at hogs creek and follow it all the way down. Overall this place was great, clean campsites and decently priced. We are really looking forward to our next visit. Also it's not far from town either. So if you need something it's within 10 min to get. We kayaked in the intex k2 kayaks and they handled well in the water. DON'T forget your sun screen and water ;)

I love camping here free showers and flushing toilets always cleaned. Just remember people are dirty in general so in the a.m. when everyone is trying to get ready for the river 8 a.m. it looks a bit messy but by the time the rush moves on someone is cleaning the restroom. No hand soap in the bathroom so bring your own. For the most part everybody is very respectable and the fire pits are cleaned after each camper as picked up and left for the new one. A bit of caution there is a Eddie in the river that is dangerous and has taken a few lives unfortunately somebody has placed a rope swing next to it and nobody has ever taken it down. So always, always, always, wear a life jacket at Indian Mary's

Located on the banks of the Rogue River, Indian Mary is the smallest Indian reservation ever created. It's a beautiful camping spot to enjoy for a couple of days, especially in the autumn 🍁🍂 There are lots of walking trails around the campsite and along the river. It's dog friendly and there's lots of grassy areas for your pups to run around. It's a great place for kayaking and fishing as well. You can book a campsite online as it does get very busy over the holiday periods. Highly recommend a visit to enjoy Nature's beauty.

Very disappointed. Treated as though we were causing the camp hosts a huge inconvenience by being there. This park has been a very special place to me from when I use to come to it years ago. I was over the moon to get to share it and show it to my boyfriend for the first time. Being that we were there during winter, we were actually the only the guests staying in the campground. The hosts made us feel so unwanted that I left there in tears. The only hot water was in the showers. We had to have them unlock them when we arrived, which they did unlock just one. The first night it was left open all night long. However the second night, without notice of any kind, they locked it in the late evening. It was 28 degrees, we were in a tent, and we couldn't use the hot showers or any hot water. Therefore we were not able to shower until we requested them to be unlocked the morning of our checkout. Partly because of that I did not make it into the shower until right at checkout time. Since we were the only campers there and since we were cut off from them the night before, and since we paid a day use fee as well as a full camp fee the first day, I had thought they would possibly be a bit lenient on us with as allowing a late checkout. That was not the case. They pounded on the shower door, yelled at me that it was checkout, and then all of them proceeded to stand next to our site as we got the last of our things loaded up and glared at us. It felt like they were police serving an eviction notice. One of them even had us show our receipt that we had in fact paid. We were told that rules are rules therefore we need to be out at checkout time on the dot. However, the entire time we were there we had to smell the hosts cigarette smoke because she would step out of her trailer and smoke constantly all day and night. Yet there are signs up that state it is a smoke free park. Apparently she is not held to the same standards as paying guests. It was a horribly sad, and depressing visit. We live in Eugene and it was so bad that we headed straight home rather than enjoy the area after checkout like we had planned. As I had briefly mentioned we paid twice on the first day. We were not planning to camp at first so we paid the day use fee the first day. We had arrived after the check in time for the campground, so when we decided to camp I thought they would deduct the day use fee from our camping fee. But, they would not. Said they can't do that. The bathrooms were fairly clean, however our site which we were told was the only one they had available, was a mess. I spent nearly an hour sweeping a ton of debris off the table and cement platform at our site. I also had to remove fresh tobacco chewed chew from our grounds as well as dog poop. Not once did any of them even say hello to us, or even speak to us with kindness. It...

2023 marks our families 57th annual camping trip to the wonderful Indian Mary Park. We absolutely love the place. Lots of wonderful camp sites for your RV or tent camping if you prefer. Don't forget your rafts, the Rouge River runs along the park for white water rafting! The park features Horseshoe pits, Disc Golf Course, Volleyball Court, Boat Ramp, Swimming hole with a Beach, multiple areas for gatherings and events including a Shelter capable of accommodating a couple hundred people. Multiple restrooms some with showers (cleaned regularly), a few Yurts, multiple Park Hosts, the Park Office sells Ice, Firewood, and a variety of Ice Cream/ Popsicles. Lots of sites have full hookups. The Park is located about 10 minutes from Merlin and 20 minutes from Grants Pass. The stars at night are amazing! It's not uncommon to see wildlife stroll through the park Deer, Wild Turkeys, Squirrels, Osprey, Eagles, Otters, Raccoons, Blue Jay's, Fox, Woodpeckers Turtles, fish, Ducks (the Rogue River is well known for its fantastic fishing!) If your lucky you might see a Bear or a Cougar they don't come into the park really especially in the Summer months when the parks full of people. But if you decide to go hiking, rafting, or exploring the rural backcountry roads you might see these. Also if you continue past Indian Mary Park out Galice Rd and follow the river to Graves Creek you can swim in the Hot Springs or walk the trail to Rainie Falls which leads you along the wilderness area of the Rogue River several large rapids with a few cascading waterfalls from the creeks that flow into the River. FYI Rainie Falls isn't really a waterfall most invasion when they think about a waterfall. It's basically a very large rapid with a significant drop. The hike is relatively easy and worth it! That area is incredibly remote and undisturbed by people it's very serene and beautiful. ...

A lovely place to camp near Grants Pass, but with some takeaways. We stayed for 10 days and booked 5 or so months in advance. We had full RV hookups. It's a little noisy from traffic--a lot of cars speed loudly up and down the highway at all hours of the night, I believe for fun, and unfortunately our site backed up right next to the road. A couple times there were officers speeding down the road after them. it occasionally woke us up, and scared my kid more than once I'm the rear bunk, which was closest to the road. Grants Pass itself is not my favorite town, but there was plenty of activities to do and things to see there and in the area. The roads to the sites were narrow and winding, and several sites did not have room for tow vehicles, so there were trucks sticking out into the already narrow roads. There is also zero cell signal there and it doesn't pick up for about 10-15 minutes down the road heading back towards the city (we have Verizon, but others with other carriers confirmed the same). We really enjoyed the concord grape Vines and apple trees on site. Those were a treat. And it was super fun seeing the gaggle of turkey hens making their way through the park like clockwork every day.

It was overall a very nice park with friendly staff and beautiful grounds. The river was gorgeous and fun to fish on the fall, albeit slow for the seasons expected Chinook run (we were there the last 10 days of September). We would be open to coming back here if passing through, but I don't think I'd make it a destination again. Maybe if the fishing picks back up, or to try the...
