Keizer Rapids Park — Attraction in Oregon

Unfortunately there isn't a firm stance on "no aggressive dogs". I understand in theory this is a hard thing to enforce, but the typical dog areas I frequent, the dog owners are really what set the tone of the environment. Unfortunately the tight quarters of this fenced in park, in combination with inattentive dog owners, don't make for a very safe environment. If you do chose to visit this dog park, PLEASE use caution, and keep clear of this woman and her dog. Unprovoked her dog attacked my puppy. She was completely unreasonable, and I told her that I would be sharing the photo of her, and her dog to spread awareness, and even at that she didn't care. This park has a very nice dog park included. There's two areas..one side for large breeds and another for the smaller ones. The restrooms are very decent. I noticed that families enjoy having fun in the children play area. This park also has a nice built in spot to work on your bicycle with tools included in a secure way of course. I noticed an outdoor amphitheater that maybe is used in the better season of summer? Teenagers seem to practice sports such as volleyball and soccer of course. There's also a boat launch to put your boat in the Willamette river! Of course life preservers are there to use.. no charge. I take my dog to the dog park here. It is one of the biggest and best I have ever seen. It is kept clean and there are pavilions and picinc tables for staying out of the sun and relaxing while your pups have fun. There are water fountains for the dogs, ample bags available in several locations, separate fenced areas for large and small dogs and double gated entrances for safety. This park also has an amazing playground. I recently helped my friend take her 3 granddaughters there. They are ages 1, 3 and 8. They all had a wonderful time!
