We've been members at Lemelson for many years and the entire team has always been wonderful. It quickly became our favorite winery, not only because of the great wine, but the people. Anytime we went wine tasting we brought friends and family to Lemelson. The events were always a joy with great food and wine stations, plus fun competitions that sometimes tested your pallet. When Laura Arce was transitioning out, we wondered what her new replacement would be like as she was one was of the nicest, most genuine people we had ever met, ...pretty big shoes to fill. Enter Kate Holmes. Kate took off from where Laura left off without skipping a beat. Such a vibrant personality, witty, fun, ...a true ambassador for Lemelson Vineyards. Shortly after Kate came on board, so did a new wine tasting room manager, a woman that was far different from the rest of the team. Because of her, our visits to Lemelson came to an end. We continued with the club, but so unsociable and awful was our experience with her that we began to call ahead to see if she was working before we'd even come to pick up our wine shipments. Sadly, even though Leslie(?) is now gone, it's been extremely slow getting our friends and family to return. To be honest, we ourselves don't frequent the once favorite winery nearly as much as we used to. It's crazy to think the impact of one individual, but with all the wonderful people like Kate still at the vineyard, this is a special place we need to...

After researching and making a reservation with Lemelson Vineyards, I ended up having to change our visit time and they were very gracious about it! When we arrived we were greeted warmly, asked if we had a table preference and were pleasantly surprised to notice they had misters in their potted plants near most of the tables (making it an option to keep cool getting 'spritzed' if one of us decided we were getting too hot). Our tasting options were based partially on the hot weather (cold whites as well as several Pinot Noirs - that the area is known for). I noticed on the front of the tasting brochure they offered Pinot Gris and asked our server if we could possibly have a tasting in lieu of one of the 3 offered Pinot Noirs for the Day. She immediately checked with the Manager and we were treated to a delicious '2018 Tikka's Run Pinot Gris' taste! We ended up purchasing several bottles, as well as their Estate Pinot Noir. We really appreciated their accommodating and friendly manner. We highly recommend visiting this winery...it's definitely worth the drive through Carlton...

This is one of the vineyards that I have been wanting to visit for some time. I was definitely not disappointed. My husband & I enjoyed a relaxing early afternoon at a private table on their attractive deck. Our charming host, Josie, brought our tastings to the table each time. We enjoyed chatting with her about the wine & the terroir. The stunning landscape surrounding the vineyard, with the Coastal Range in the background, brought forth beautiful memories as we reminisced of our younger years growing up in the area. Their wines are excellent with great price points. I preferred the 2016 Thea’s Selection of the Pinot Noirs. I must say that as a red wine drinker I was surprisingly impressed with the 2016 Reserve Chardonnay. We came home with a bottle of each. We hope to return on one of our visits...

What a lovely experience! We were down for an event in wine country and were fortunate enough to find time to visit Lemelson! Right to the good stuff...the wines - the Pinot Gris has just the right hint of acidity and a gorgeous texture - it was a perfect pairing for our cioppino later that day! The Chestnut Hill Pinot Noir - was beautifully aromatic and medium bodied with lots of delicious berry notes! It served it's designed purpose well, when called to sacrifice itself for cedar plank wild king salmon, with roasted brussel sprouts. The grounds are amazing, and if you are offered a tour, TAKE IT! The amazing architecture, the beautiful grounds, not to mention the physics employed to produce their wines (Enterprise, engage!), make this vineyard worth the trip!

We went Wine tasting with two friends on the Saturday before Mother's Day. Wait staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The MD special brunch app was awesome, huge, and lots to choose from - $45, very well worth it and enough for 4 people. Wine is excellent, 5 different wine tastings, one Rose, one Pinot Gris and three Pinot Noirs. All tastes showed the varieties of the three AVA's that make up the estate. $30 per person tasting, becoming a standard price. This one was well worth it. Grounds and outdoor spaces are inviting and beautiful. Bathrooms are clean and nice.

Lemelson's is far and away my favorite winery in Oregon! The wine quality is excellent, but what really sets them apart for me is the attention and service I get every time I call with a question or stop by for a tasting. Always super nice, incredibly patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Today I picked up some wine for the holidays (along with a few bottles from De Ponte, my second favorite Oregon winery) and now I think the holidays will start tonight!
