Big beautiful beach just north of Port Orford. You can drive on the beach if you have a SUV or 4x4 vehicle. But a regular car probably would get stuck. But if you can make it down the steep little road then you can take your vehicle down to the beach and picnic, layout or whatever.

Only a couple people there when I was there in the late afternoon. I was there for about an hour completely by myself.

Always keep one eye on the water, because this area is known for sneaker waves that could knock you down and carry you out to sea. It's a fun little beach and I totally...

This was a cool one. I've never been to this beach before and we got a vacation rental just up the street so it was a just a few minutes walk. The beach was pretty much empty so it was cool to let the dog run around. There was access to drive onto the beach and I saw a Jeep driving around but you don't really see very often around here. The beach is super steep and it's wide open ocean so the waves are really strong and there are big sneaker waves...

Beautiful overlook to a gorgeous beach. Easy access to the beach, but none for wheelchair or walker, strictly for hikers and able-bodied. Nothing is paved or developed. Pretty beach. Great view from the parking lot. Sand was super soft and hard to walk in. Get ready for a work out. You can drive on the beach but you better have good tires and lockers. I tend to like the other ones in the area better

Pretty beach with super soft black sand. You have to walk downhill on this soft sand to get to the water. There's not much in the way of treasures to find. But it's still a lovely walk.
