First time here. 241 miles destination for us, didn't know what to expect. Google doesn't have alot of information for this place in particular but I hope this helps.

If you love isolated locations perfect place. Nature's all around. We saw alot of wild life while just staying at campground. Very well maintained location. Staff is friendly.

At Unity Lake there's solar showers, Flushing toilets. Every site has its own faucet and electrical hook up. Cabins have electrical outlets inside, portable water outside, ice is available onsite for $2.00. There's is swimming area just follow the stairs. But there was alot of algae. So the kids just played didn't swim/or didnt go in all the way in. Dog friendly area as well. Bass cabin is dog friendly. Don't forget to bring bug repellent. It is a definitely!!!

Surrounding areas there is unity town 10mins or so away. There's self pump gas there. Mark is very small and selection is minimal for things.

Things to do not very much so. Must travel on car to find things to do. Onsite has maps and fliers available. If you have toys it's a very good place to...

We were there the end of June and it was incredibly clean, green, and packed. Lots of people that weekend but it was a great stay. If you have a boat, the fishing was good. The boat dock was very busy and since there are very few places to bank fish other than the launch area, it is busy with kids swimming, biking, and people fishing off dock. So the bad: Very little bank access. Crowded boat launch with the area being used by lots and lots of people. No real walking trail or trail system. The good: Very clean-campsites, bathrooms, showers, trash areas-all clean. There is a recycling area!!! Very green and lush. Bird houses everywhere with swallows flying around. Large pull through sites. Nice hot showers. Overall a wonderful place that is being well ran...

This is a great park and doesn't usually fill up. First come, first serve for campsites. Cabins are reservable. Its quiet and the staff work hard to keep it clean and well maintained. The drinking water still has a lot of iron in it. I recommend getting your water from the roadside near Bates park or bringing your own. . This is my second year hosting and we usually have great folks coming through. If you have any questions, hit me up when you're here. If for some reason you feel I'm rude, it mught just be that I'm tired or focused on something else, so laugh it off and tell me to quit being rude. Chances are I've talked your ear off already.

Have...

Unity Lake State Park was so lovely. We stayed a week in a cabin and frankly didn't want to leave. It was quiet, comfortable, clean, secure, and beautiful. The hardest part was the bathrooms, which were a distance away. At night there was a wall of bugs to get through to walk in and out of the showers or bathrooms because bugs were drawn to the lights. Uck. Ice and wood available on-site. The town of Unity has a very small market, but we went to Prairie City for gas and John Day for groceries. Saw a lot of wildlife and loved exploring the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. Definitely will be back to this location.

We grabbed one of 3 first come first served sites here as we didn't have a reservation. What an unexpected pleasure. This is a clean, quiet well kept park. It's pretty remote (off highway 26) so maybe that's why it didn't seem that busy. In any case I hope we stay there again. We had water and power for the out of State rate of $37.00 and they have a dump station. There is a short easy nature hike we walked from end to end. You can find it behind the restroom building. Didn't check out the restrooms or showers, sorry.
