This park is by far one of our favorites places to visit when wanting to visit a park! It has a duck pond, so many trails for kiddo to ride her scooter, gardens, memorial sites, lots of places to play including lots of swings even a fountain! It has a lot of lawn space to take a blanket out and have a picnic, throw a frisby, and extremely pet friendly (one of my daughters favorite parts is we know she will always get to see lots of pups!) It's also where we had my grandpa's last birthday party before he passed away which brings back so many memories! On my daughter's 9th birthday weekend this year going to "the fun park" was the only thing she wanted to do when asked what she wanted to do for her last day of being 8 yrs old. To me the only downside is they have now banned feeding the ducks which was one of our favorite memories and things we loved to do (even tho I do understand why they had to do it). Even tho there are not near as many ducks anymore (including the chance to see baby ducklings) there is still a chance and I know they had to ban feeding them for the animals well being which is definitely the right decision in the long run. If you are an orem resident you've probably already been here at least once but if not then it's definitely one to check out. If you're visiting Utah county and wanting a relaxing place to visit on a Sunday evening I couldn't...
Read moreWell everyone I am thoroughly surprised on how clean and new the bathroom at this park is. It was a dire situation coming up the canyon when my stomach was churning and gasping for a bathroom when we stopped at Vivian park. I walked into this bathroom not expecting much but was very surprised. It lit up automatically and didn’t smell like garbage I though I was in at least a nice gas station just for a moment. Then as I opened the stall door I expected a horrid smell and graffiti everywhere. But to my amazement it wasn’t that bad only a couple of writings and a couple of stains down the hole but the seat was clean and ready for the next person to sit down. As I say the beats was unleashed but then a kiss of wind hit me from beneath which was unexpected but not a bad thing. I wiped and stood up happy and feeling great. As I washed my hands I hit the water timed button and surprisingly I was able to scrub my soap in and wash it all off without the water annoyingly turning off on me. It was quite amazing. I would seriously inquire all of you to not wait till Heber city or Orem to stop if you are in an emergency through the canyon take a stop at this amazing Vivian park bathroom it’s really...
Read moreThe playground needs to be upgrades. But it's a nice place to stop at. Very clean and the creek is nice for the kids. I really like the views it has to offer. I will for sure be going back multiple times. I think the Train part is really cool because most kids dont have the opertunity to get that close to a train. So to be that close to part of one is really facinating. Its also surprisingly quitefor gow close it is to the highly traveled highway. Parking could also be worked on. Its such a nice place lots of people are usually there and you will be lucky if you get a parking apot in the Summer months. But everything else is great. Thank you to those who keep thw place in nice...
