Raging Bull Vineyard — Attraction in Orland

We visited Raging Bull Vineyard as part of a Harvest Host stay, and as always, it was a fantastic experience. This isn’t my first visit—actually one of many—and it remains one of my favorite places to enjoy excellent red wines, friendly conversations, and a peaceful overnight RV stay.

When we arrived, I pulled into the winery and walked into the tasting room, where Charlie greeted us with his usual big smile. We noticed our friends already at the wine bar, but before joining them, I wanted to get the RV parked and settled. It didn’t take long to set up, and though Charlie kindly offered us a ride back to the tasting room, we opted for the short walk.

Once back inside, we joined our friends for a tasting, and time flew by as we caught up over great wines and good company. When the tasting room closed, we headed back to the RV, started a fire in the pit, and continued the evening with more wine, laughter, and dinner off the BBQ. The setting was calm and scenic—a perfect end to the day.

The next morning, we took our time packing up before stopping by the tasting room again to say goodbye to Sharon and let her know we’ll be back for the Christmas celebration. With four new bottles added to our collection, we left feeling relaxed and already looking forward to our next visit.

Had a lovely tasting experience with Sharon, Charlie, Jim, Charlotte, Grace, and Tripp. This was my favorite winery in northern California. It felt like I walked into someone's living room/bar and was welcomed in like a new friend. There was a lovely selection of wines and Sharon provided very good descriptions for each of them. (Sharon - in the event that you see this, the song I couldn't find in my head was was not "Gold Violin", but "Old Violin" by Johnny...

Raging Bull Vineyard is about as close to perfection as it gets! Great folks, amazing views, and quiet atmosphere. Compliment that with outstanding wine selection and it doesn’t get any better.
