Pleasant Bay is a beautiful place. At the time my wife and I had just started dating and we wanted to share an experience together that we had not done with anyone else. So we decided sailing and booked our first lesson. The instructor was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. We returned for many lessons that summer as we fell in love with sailing and each other. We did a 2-hour rental with Arey's Pond and I can't think of a better way to rent a sailboat. The folks at Arey's are kind & relaxed and the catboats are a totally unique sailing experience, perfect for taking my family for a casual sail. Trevor was full of useful information while still leaving things vague enough for a sense of adventure. Low tide is tricky, and single-handing back onto a mooring was challenging enough to be hilarious. Can't wait to go back for a longer experience and maybe a lesson so I can finally figure those weird...
