Canada del Oro Riverfront Park is a well maintained park. We visited to watch a children's soccer game.

Parking was a problem. We had elderly, mobility impaired grandparents that had to be dropped off while the driver searched for a parking space. He eventually parked in a neighborhood on the north side of Lambert Road.

Parking spaces becomes available in cycles. When the previous games end, there is a mass exit of vehicles. Unfortunately, coach wants the kids to arrive before those games end.

As a game spectator, it depends on the time of day whether shade is available. Bringing an umbrella is a suggestion. Also, bring your own lawn chairs.

There are pavillions with picnic tables and a playground nearby. A paved walking path runs along the perimeter of the park.

This park looks like a great place to bring the family for a picnic. Just be sure to avoid the busy times during...

There was a free concert in the park. The music was quite good for a symphony. I recognized a few of the songs! The speakers weren't loud enough though. I would have enjoyed it much more if the speakers had been double the volume! We had some mobility challenged people so we didn't want to go too close to the stage. It would be too difficult to go back up to the rest area, if needed.

We heard there would be food trucks, but never saw any. We parked by the tennis courts on the east side. We found handicap ramps hard to find until we were near the rest rooms. The handicapped parking was full.

From what I saw, the park is quite busy with dog walkers and sport players. And of course,...

Canada del oro riverfront park Tucson has lots of nice little parks along its bike trails. This is a safe one for families with lots of amenities. Good parking, and lots of things for families to do. They have two playgrounds one for younger kids and one.for older kids. It has a trail that goes along a wash so you can see some birds and have some good views of the mountains. As always, in Arizona, you have to be aware of your surroundings. I imagine when it gets warmer. I'll be more snakes….. If you stay in the park proper, there's not as much risk for kids wandering around….. The restrooms were clean and there were some nice...

Nothing but Wonderful! Childrens play area is amazing. Baseball park and rolling grass area terrific. Silly me no picture. However my husband and I went for a picnic. A Beautiful day under a shaded tree... enjoying the scenery of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Please come enjoy the River Front Park, like wee did..

The loop is Amazing! The view all around is gorgeous. I went there for a walk it was very accessible for people with disabilities whether on a wheelchair or walker . Plenty of shade to rest under in between. It has a very cute playground . It's my go to for morning or afternoon walk.
