Definitely one of the nicer parks in the Tucson area. It may not have a bathroom but a short walk to the west will bring you to another wonderful park that has one. It has real grass and is well taken care of. Just before sunset many people come with their dogs which can be good or bad if you like dogs. This place also has a sand volleyball area and a basketball court. After sunset though during the fall winter and spring it is popular to see javelinas so be aware.
