Red Top was a pretty cool winery. It has a more contemporary style with some creative, less traditional wines and sparkling ciders available. The wines aged in tequila and brandy barrels were good and definitely a departure from the ordinary. It’s amazing what the aging added to the wine. The ciders were also tasty, and although it sounds odd, the jalapeño cider was excellent. Their bartenders were very helpful and friendly too, and the patio looked pleasant with live music. Red Top is definitely a cool stop in this part of Michigan’s wine country.

Came here over Labor Day weekend to have a tasting. When you step inside you are welcomed by the front registers and asked what kind of experience you’d like. We opted for a tasting which includes 6 pours. The reds were a miss, for me personally, and I tend to stick to sweeter wines in Michigan. I would suggest the ciders being the best offering on the menu, especially the Turtle. Overall, glad I tried it but not enough to tempt me back.

If you're looking for different this is your place to be. The wines are different! Don't expect your normal wines, open minds will appreciate the opportunity provided here. Let's just say we left here with the max discount on bottle purchases and that's because we love wine, fine wines, BUT we appreciate unique, visionary wines. Best stop in southwest Michigan's wine county.

I'm giving it 5 stars even though I feel the 1 thing they could improve on is having a guest wifi. Being able to fill out the review right away instead of waiting is extremely important especially whenyou have no signal. Jodi was perfection. Full knowledge of the wines they serve and also helped is with restaurants to visit while here. Also, I feel that I'd rather spend less money on a great wine in a regular bottle than spend more money on a great wine in a better bottle. Have 2 choices. 1 with the better bottle and 1 with a...

Stopped in here based on good review suggestions. The property is beautiful, though they could jazz up the outdoor a little more. It was a little pricey ($12 for 6) for such small tasting pours (and most are underpoured to the line on the glass). We're used to TC and Canada where tastings are either included with tours, $5, or covered if you buy at least a bottle. The wines were definitely different (most infused with fruit). They weren't my favorite, but unique enough that we bought a few to enjoy on the deck...
