Just amazing how folks think this is an "Instagram" site and have no clue of the historical implications of this area. My (and perhaps their) ancestors endured life that would be UNTHINKABLE before there was a lake or a bridge. Please learn to research history and respect the long lost pioneers that made modern California possible. And then there are the native Americans who inhabited this area even earlier. We really fail to teach history; so sad.

$10 for entrance just to see the ordinary bridge. 5 minutes of walking around. Nice views but more useful for boats or other water activities.

Right next to bidwell canyon campground. Many picnic tables and benches nearby. Wonderful view of the lake.

We’ve lived about an hour from Lake Oroville for over a decade and had never gone. We’re thinking about buying a houseboat and they’re often for sale at Bidwell Marina, so we took a drive one Sunday to check it out. Parking was easy. The store was well stocked and clean. The bathrooms were clean. And we were happy to see there was a restaurant to grab some lunch! The menu had plenty of options. We ordered downstairs and then went upstairs to eat. Food was good. Service...

What a beautiful place!!! First of all it was 107 degrees when we visited and let me say it did not feel that way at all being under the trees next to the water. So scenic, cool, and easily accessible. My kids really enjoyed it. Beware that there is a small amount of land underwater that can be walked on and then there is a large drop so don't let your kids...
