It doesn’t matter if the lake is full or “empty.” Lake Oroville is so large there’s plenty of room to recreate. Oroville consists of three forks, North (from Lime Saddle Marina)Middle and South forks (accessed from all the other launches) and of course the main body. When lake levels are high, take a cruise up Middle Fork to have a look at Feather Falls! Bean Creek, half way up middle fork is also a year round waterfall that you can swim up to.

Lots of coves to hide from the wind and the fishing is a whole other story! Lake Oroville is home to one of the best Small Mouth Bass fisheries. More difficult to catch than large mouth. These small mouth bass have a softer bite, it takes practice and patience to feel the bite through the rod and distinguish it from the...

Oroville Lake has something for everyone. Bring your duck floatie, paddleboard, kayak, speed boat or just the dog. We've been taking this guy down to learn to swim regularly. My only concerns are not related to staff Please pack your trash out and leave the lake better than you found it. People leave behind trash which destroys the beauty and is dangerous. Keep eyes open, we met up with a "camper" walking through. There appears to be an encampment nearby. It would be great of there were more trash bins scattered around to encourage people to be responsible with trash. The lake level is amazing this year and lots of fun to be had just pack your stuff...

Looks like a beautiful lake and the water looks great.

The day we went to the lake, the water level was really low so there wasn't any activity until the water level returned.

From our photos, you can see how low the lake level was. We checked out some of the houseboats for future projects.

"Everywhere, these picture were taken, had the water level been back to normal, we would be under water!"

Will try to do the house boating here very soon but the area is quite and sets in beautifully in...

Went for a weekend with some family friends on a floating campsite and it was a blast! Water was perfect temperature and we had some privacy around our 2 story floating campsite. Great for large groups. Has a bathroom and a storage area. Also a nice grill! Can't wait to go again

Never know what you are going to see out on the water. Bald eagles, bass, deer...storm ravaged boats. It is great to see the water higher than it has been in 2 years
