Best rustic camping in Michigan . We have been going there for over 25 years! Lumberman's Monument can give you details. There are boat in, walk in, and drive in sites. It is best to have a boat to fully enjoy the pond, which is more like a lake, but watch out for stumps in...

Forrested valley turned wetland via the dam. Great place to camp and boat for a weekend. My group usually rents one of the small islands so we can bring our dogs and let them run wild. Clear, moonlit summer nights here...
